  With summer vacations ending, you may feel there?s no longer an acceptable reason to be away from work. Can you afford to stay home with a sick child or work from home while supervising a contractor now that the season for time off has ended?

  The answer is yes. Workplace flexibility is increasingly important to your colleagues and supervisors. In fact, it was ranked as the most important perk (after cash and benefits) in an EY survey last year. Thirty-four percent of men and 30% of women reported they?d go so far as to quit their job if they weren?t offered day-to-day flexibility.

  Companies are responding to this demand: between 2008 and 2014, more employers surveyed by the Families and Work Institute allowed employees to occasionally work from home (from 50% to 67%), control their breaks (from 84% to 92%), control overtime hours (from 27% to 45%), and take time off during the workday for personal needs (from 73% to 82%).

  But figuring out when to disclose a personal obligation that takes you away from work—and how much detail to give—isn?t always simple. “The reality is that every work environment has a big culture and then there are subcultures. Any worker needs to test it,” says KarynTwaronite, EY Americas global diversity and inclusiveness officer and a partner at Ernst & Young.

  So, why should you share anything about a family commitment that takes you away from work? Why not just take the time you need but not explain?

  First, if you?re comfortable talking about a personal commitment, you will contribute to building a culture in which employees? work-life boundaries are respected and flexibility is used.

  Kim Lubel, 50, chairman and chief executive of convenience retailer CST Brands, makes a point of bringing her children to work events and talking about carpool or other family obligations. “There are lots of other folks who are trying to figure out if it?s okay or not, and I want them to know it?s okay,” says Lubel. “If you have to pretend like your life outside your 10 hours at the office doesn?t exist, you?re going to be miserable in the long run.”

  Second, if you don?t share anything about your personal life—or ask for help when you need it—you will miss the chance to build authentic connections at work.

  “If you go through your life helping other people, then when you need it, they?ll be there for you,” says Brian M. Wong, 44, a partner at law firm Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman in San Francisco. “They can?t be there for you if you?re not sharing what?s going on.”

  That doesn?t mean you tell everyone everything about your personal life and challenges. Start small when disclosing commitments, and gauge the receptivity of the person you?re telling. If there?s tension, keep it more professional in the future.

  Wong says that he shares personal information with clients or colleagues he knows are receptive but keeps to business with those who prefer that style. “It?s knowing when you need to be transparent,” he says. “Sometimes you can just say, ?I have a meeting.? ”

  When he and his husband adopted their five-year old son, Damien, they had to appear in court and take time away from work at short notice. With clients Wong has known for 10 or 15 years, he could say he was taking two days off to be interviewed by social services or spending the day in court for adoption proceedings. With others, he sim* said he wasn?t available.

  Above all, don?t let personal obligations affect your ability to do your work. Indeed, that may be the best way to broach a commitment. Instead of saying, “I need the morning off to train for an upcoming marathon,” begin with explaining that all your projects are on track.

  “Performance comes first,” Twaronite says. “If you?ve proven yourself in results, you will have a bigger voice. You?ll have the ability to flex your muscles and be more transparent.”

考勤及请假管理规定3

  一、考勤管理

  1、考勤是员工工作时间付出的凭证,亦是公司给付薪资报酬的原始依据。员工自报到之日起,直到离职之日止,必须依公司规定进行考勤;

  2、每月员工考勤将以考勤机打卡为准,员工应自觉遵守考勤规定,按时出勤,不准迟到早退;

  3、员工于正常工作时间(8:30AM——5:30PM),不得擅自离开工作岗位。正常工作时间内不得处理个人私事,如果因为私事办理必须按照规定请假,否则按擅离工作岗位论处;

  4、中午休息时间离开公司,需重新打卡,超过时间按旷工处分。工作时间离岗,没有填写出门单、或每月累计迟到早退三次以上者,将处予罚款,50元/次;

  5、5.1、迟到:员工于规定上班时间逾时到岗位则视为迟到;

  5.2、早退:员工于规定下班时间提前离岗则视为早退;

  5.3、旷工:员工无故不出勤或请假未经批准擅自不出勤或离岗4小时及以上者视为旷工;

  6、忘记打卡者,或因为其他工作事宜未能按时打卡者,须在24小时内告知人力资源部,否则视为旷工;

  7、员工因公出差外出未能打卡,需在出门单上注明,并由部门最高负责人签字确认,否则视为旷工;

  8、员工连续旷工3天以内的,公司将根据具体情节,扣除当月工资的百分之十至百分之二十;

  9、员工连续旷工三日或者三个月内非连续旷工达五日,公司将视为该员工自动离职

  10、员工无正当理由经常旷工,经批评教育无效,连续旷工时间超过十五天,或者一年以内累计旷工时间查过三十天,公司将予以除名。

  二、加班

  1、公司原则上不提倡加班,工作绩效以结果导向为原则(即以工作结果完成为标准),若指定工作未完成,则不属于加班;

  2、上级临时交办工作,并且需要非工作时间立即完成,则属于加班范畴;

  3、员工因公加班,需要至人力资源部领取填写“加班申请单”,并由上级主管及人力资源部经理签字,方准予加班;

  4、员工加班,均属于非工作时间,及假期时间加班,按小时计算工资;

  5、加班必须是员工自愿,严禁强迫或变相强迫员工加班;

  6、加班必须有实际之工作产出(包括实质产品产出或脑力产出);

  7、加班可以通过填写“加班申请单”去人力资源部换取“调休单”调休,或由公司发放加班费;

  8、加班费用支付标准遵循国家劳动部门制定的法定标准;

  9、员工自愿参加训练课程或公众性活动、*、会议、义务劳动等,均不属于加班;

  三、调休

  1、有周六周日加班(整时数)的,可申请调休;

  2、调休以正常上班计薪,不计加班费;

  3、生产线员工调休由公司根据生产情况进行安排;

  4、当年度未修完的调休,可在次年三月底前修完;

  四、带薪年休假

  1、在公司连续工作满一年以上员工,可依据员工年休假规定,享有年休假,年

  2.1、年休假安排以工作、生产力不受影响为前提;

  2.2、年休假为有薪假期,员工休假期间视为正常工作日计发工资

  2.3、公司可视生产、工作需要,安排员工休年休假;

  2.4、当年度未休完之年休假,可在次年三月底前休完;

  2.5、因为工作需要未休假,由用人主管签核,人力资源部审查通过后依法办理补薪作业;

  2.6、因个人原因未休假之天数,视为自动放弃,不予补薪;

  3、有以下情形之一者,当年不享受年休假:

  3.1、连续工作满一年,不满十年,当年度请病假累计超过一个月者;

  3.2、当年度因个人原因,请假缺勤20天(含)以上者;

  五、请假

  1、员工因故不能正常出勤者,应事先办理请假手续(如遇急病可以事后补假条)。未经请假核准而擅自缺勤者,视为旷工;

  2. 每季度员工事假请假天数限三天以内;

  六、病假

  1、病假必须有正规医院开具的有效病假证明;

  2、病假期间,公司按照国家规定发放工资,连续工龄一年以上,年休病假天数在15天/年内的,工资发放基数为月基本工资的70%;

  3、其他病假情况,公司保留解释的权利;

  七、事假

  1、事假是指处理私人事务请假;

  2、连续请假3天以上者,需要提前3天申请;

  3、连续请假5天以上一周以下者,需要提前一周申请;

  4、事假请假一年累计不得超过15天;

  八、丧假

  1、员工的直系亲属(父母、配偶、子女)以及岳父母或公婆死亡后,员工可以请丧假料理丧事。

  2、请丧假必须提供亲属死亡证明(可事后补办);

  3、丧假不得超过7天,且需一次性休完;

  九、婚假

  1、结婚登记一年内,可以申请休婚假;

  2、婚假必须提前一周申请,并提供结婚证原件(复印件存档);

  3、按照法定结婚年龄(女20周岁,男22周岁)结婚的,可以享受3天婚嫁;

  4、符合晚婚年龄(女23周岁,男25周岁)的,可以受晚婚假13天(含3天法定婚嫁),再婚者不享受晚婚假;

  5、婚嫁包含公休假和法定假;

  6、婚嫁需一次性修完;

  1、产假休假规定根据地方*政策规定进行休假;

  2、产假必须符合国家及地方*“计划生育政策”;

  3、休产假须提供医院证明;

  4、产假包含公休日、法定假日;

  5、产假需一次休完;

  6、女职工正常生育的产假为98天;对晚育的,延长女方产假三十天,给予男方护理假十天;难产的增加15天,多胞胎生育的每多生育1个婴儿增加15天。产假期间员工工资正常发放;3-6个月内的延长产假,须经总经理批准。任何员工休产假最长不得超过6个月。

  7、女员工产前检查可享受累计10天的孕期体检假,根据实际发生天数从产假天数中核减。

  8、女员工初婚怀孕不满4个月流产的,根据医院证明给产假15天;怀孕不满4个月引产的,根据医院证明,给假30天;怀孕4个月以上流产的,根据医院证明,给假42天。

  9、凡不符合国家计划生育规定情况的,一律按照事假处理,所有费用自理。

  10、 产假期间遇有法定节假日,不得重复计算假期。产假不应与其它公休假、年假连休,如确有特殊需要,员工须向部门经理提出申请,由部门经理与人力资源部门协调,报总经理批准后方可休假。

  十、哺乳假

  1、 有不满1周岁婴儿的女员工,在每班劳动时间内给与其两次哺乳(含人

  工喂养)时间,每次30分钟。多胞胎生育的,每多哺乳一个婴儿,每次哺乳时间增加30分钟。每天哺乳时间不可合并使用。

  2、 哺乳期间超过以上规定的,单位外往返时间不计入哺乳假,可按照本人

  出勤记录记入公休或事假。

  十一、其他

  1、 婚假、产假、丧假的福利规定不适用于试用期员工。

  2、 除上述各类假期外,员工有特殊情况需要申请休假的,要事先经上级领

  导和公司总经理批准,此类假期的薪酬发放由总经理决定,书面通知人力资源部门。

  以上所有假期除有特别说明外,所指天数均为日历月,不得按实际工作日计算。除国家法定假日外,所有员工均须按规定提前取得公司有关领导签字同意后方可休假,否则按旷工论处。

  本规定自颁布之日起执行,解释权归公司人力资源部。
